This issue we are looking at a class favourite: Corn

Corn is a super easy summer vegetable that grows well when planted as a group crop in mid to late November. Corn can withstand almost any weather condition such as strong winds, heat, rain or consistently changing climates. Corn is a very tolerant plant and can grow in almost any soil type as long as it is provided room to grow. The recommendation of planting in a group crop, is so that it protects each other from the elements as well as animals that may like to feed off their vegetable. However, if you wish to grow single stalks it is just as easy, it may just need some support and protection which is why it can be an amazing decorative piece to hide a wooden fence.

Fun fact: Corn was traditionally purple and over time and modifications we made it yellow to appeal to more people when plated to eat.
