UNLOCK’D 2020 Composition Competition

The Australian Guild of Music is Running the UNLOCK’D 2020 Composition Competition for Victorian students in Years 7-12.

Students are invited to submit an original piece of music to be in the running to win some great prizes, and the chance to have their song recorded in a professional studio. The music can be in any style and with any instrument.

Entries are open until Sunday, 27 September 2020.

Mary River Press Services Short Story Prize

Do you want to polish up your short story writing skills and get a free expert appraisal of your work? Entries are currently open for the 2020 Mary River Press Services Short Story Prize, worth a total of AU $140.

The prize is open to all short story authors writing in English. We seek original short stories between 2000 and 5000 words. All winners will be published on our site.

Competition closes Sunday, 1 November 2020.

Unearthed 2020

Unearthed is an environmental themed art contest, held by Green Citizens Australia Network (GCAN).

Artists from around Australia are invited to submit paintings and drawings on the themes of environment and eco living. There is a youth category for people aged 11-17, with a top prize of $500.

The competition is open until Wednesday, 30 September 2020.
