Influenza Vaccinations

The school is offering the influenza vaccine to all boarding students this term. This will be provided on campus on Tuesday 23 May, before school. If you would like your child/ren to receive the influenza vaccine, please complete the consent form here by Friday 11 May and return it via nurse@gsg.wa.edu.au. The cost of the vaccine is free this year, however there is a $12.00 charge for administering the injection.  This will be charged to your school account. 

Head Lice Checks

At the beginning of every term, we complete head lice checks on our boarding students.

On Wednesday 3 May after school, all boarders will be checked for head lice in the Health Centre by our Nurses and Boarding Supervisors.

If your child requires treatment for head lice, the product we use is Nitalie Delous.  This natural product has proven to be safe and effective. The cost for these checks will be covered by the School.  

It is a requirement that all students are checked and treated to help reduce the incidence of head lice in the boarding environment. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this process, please contact Liz or Rebecca in the Health Centre on 9844 0319.
