Term Two Commencement

The first day of Term Two is Wednesday 26 April.  Boarders can return to boarding from 4.00pm on Tuesday 25 April, (ANZAC Day).

Ordering School Photos

School photos were taken at the beginning of Week Ten.  Photos of your child/ren can be ordered online by visiting the Fotoworks ordering website and using their child/ren's access key.  For those families who do not have a copy of their child/ren's access key, please contact boarding via dianne.franzinelli@gsg.wa.edu.au.

For those families who asked their children to have a sibling photo, the access key will be on the form that was sent home with the students.  Please ask your child for this form over the school holidays.

Country and Wilson

In Week Four of Term Two, it is Wilson's turn for their fundraising day.  Students can wear a country and western item of clothing for the day such as a cowboy hat/boots or western shirt. To participate, students will need a gold coin donation plus gold coins for a cake stall.  Please ask your child to find a dress-up item at home on the holidays and bring it back to boarding.

'Wheely' Safe

There are several students, particularly in the younger houses, that love to get out and about on bikes, skateboards and roller skates or roller blades.  It is lovely to see the students out enjoying the outdoors, however, in the interest of safety, if your child likes to spend time 'on wheels', please ensure they have the appropriate safety equipment with them at boarding.  Helmets are required for all 'wheeled' activities and the consideration of elbow and knee pads for skateboards and roller skates/blades.

Gap Assistants

Our two Gap Assistants, Miss May Botha and Miss Tiffany Kok, have continued to be an absolute asset to Great Southern Grammar.  We know we can rely on them to get involved in any activity and often at short notice.  They have a zest for life and want to experience as much as they can whilst they are in Australia.  This week May and Tiffany were very excited to receive their boarding hoodies, just in time as the temperature starts to drop.

Sunday Sessions - Term Two

Our Gap Assistants, May and Tiffany will be working on a slideshow of holiday photos for one of the Sunday Sessions in Term Two.  They would like boarders to bring in photos of their holidays for inclusion in the slideshow.  Boarders can submit their photos via dianne.franzinelli@gsg.wa.edu.au
