The Principal's Pen

I want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement you have shown for each other over this difficult few weeks. We have seen collaboration, compassion and grace displayed in different ways throughout our community. As a College we have worked to set a path that supports our families, looking to the days to come when we are able to be back together again.

As a possible sign of the current confusion, Easter seems to have taken a bit of a back seat recently. I suppose a lot of Easter’s marketing comes through the shops and retailers and they have had other things to contend with. When we put this loss of focus together with the advice about using this time to slow down and reflect on what is really important, we all have an opportunity to see the real treasure in the Easter message. A relationship with God can be a real comfort and this has been made possible by Jesus – that’s what we remember at Easter time.

As we move into the term holidays we are preparing for remote learning for next term. We will keep you informed about any plans for the term and I pray that you have a safe holiday break until we all return.
