Cornerstone Lego Masters

Terms of engagement

The aim of Cornerstone Lego Masters is to have fun and stay connected with one another as we practice more social distancing. Along the way, we will all have fun and develop our Lego building skills! Check out the following requirements and make sure you and your parents understand what is required before joining in. The following requirements will help to keep things safe and fun for everyone!

The creator of bricktasticblog.com, John, has kindly agreed to set our weekly challenges. To get to know him, follow this link https://bricktasticblog.com/about-bricktasticblog/

1. A new theme will be set each Monday morning. Keep an eye out for this and be creative with your approach! There will be 2 categories: LEGO or OPEN. LEGO means you must build exclusively from lego pieces, OPEN means you can construct from whatever materials you have available.

2. Each age category will have a post under which they can comment. Please only comment in your own year group, but enjoy looking at and interacting with the other posts.

3. You’ll need to post a progress picture update on Wednesday. This will be as a comment on your year group’s post. This will help to keep everything tidy. If you or your parents are not sure about what to do, feel free to message Mrs Blennerhassett for some tips.

4. The picture of your final masterpiece is to be posted by 3pm on Friday. Entries after this time will not be accepted, so make sure you’re on time. Judging will be completed and winners announced by Friday 6pm.

5. If you’re under 12 or don’t have a Facebook account, please ask your parents to help you by using their account. If you are doing this, make sure you use your name in the comment so we know who you are.

6. Keep it friendly! No nasty comments! If you do make a mistake in this area, you’ll be banned for a week and we’ll let you know why. If it happens again, we’ll have to remove you. Remember, don’t write anything online that you wouldn’t say directly to someone. High school students, keep in mind that primary kids will be seeing this page, so be particularly careful in this area.

7. Canteen vouchers await the winners of each age group!

Enjoy and have fun!
