School Fees Term 2, 2020

We want to continue to support our families in coming months by providing you with the best education we can, and to ease the financial burden on you as best we can.

To that end, the following decisions have been made with respect to fees.

College fees for Term 2 for all students from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be discounted by 20%, and over the next week or two, the processing of that credit will occur. You can expect a new statement to be issued once the discount has been applied.  Should this mean you would like to adjust any direct debit arrangements currently in place, please advise us by sending an email to accounts@cornerstone.education, or alternatively contact our Administration to discuss.  This hardship discount will be considered again for Term 3 and 4 as the situation dictates.

If your account is in credit, you can apply for a refund by sending an email to accounts@cornerstone.education,  with your bank details.  It will otherwise be held as a credit for future fees.

We recognise that in some cases, circumstances may require additional support.  If this applies to you, please do not hesitate to discuss your situation with us as soon as possible.

Need Networking Help?

Our amazing Chaplain, Mrs Blennerhassett, recognises that not all families/students will have access to the technology needed for video calls that are the new way that many medical and support professionals are working with clients in this current crisis.  Where there are students who have been seeing support services at school such as Psychologists, she has advised that she can arrange for those appointments to still happen via video call from school.

As a College, we don't want students missing appointments, so please get in touch if you need help making these arrangements.

Secondary Assistance Scheme Update!

Given the current environment related to the COVID-19, the Education Department is seeking ways to support schools, parents and guardians through this period.

As such, an alternative process has been introduced for the school year 2020 to allow parent/guardian(s) to email their SAS application to the school together with proof of their concession card, either as a scanned copy of the card or a photograph of the card.

The College will then need to print the SAS application form and sign the witness declaration to verify that we have sighted a copy of the concession card, confirmed the student(s) attends our school and that the email has been received from the email address recorded against the student’s current enrolment information.

Time is coming to a close, but if you act now you can still apply.
