3-4 S.A.K.G

Spring is finally here and the garden is bursting with produce. On site students Sienna and Sarah helped with looking after the chickens and harvesting of broccoli and beetroot. These ingredients have been blanched and frozen for when students come back on site. We also planted some fruit trees in the new garden area ready to espalier against the fence.

As we head further into remote learning, it’s important to express gratitude to the amazing parents who are helping our students with their cooking at home. It’s important to note that most of our Year 3 students have only had one introductory kitchen session and we are seeing some great cooking pictures being uploaded to Seesaw. Check out Oscar’s great work as he learns about pasta. That looks delicious. Well done Oscar.

The amazing cooking effort continues with Year 4 students Anthony, Dante and Aiden using lots of fresh veggies and herbs in their cooking. Check out the kitchen techniques demonstrated.
