End of Term 3!

It is amazing to think that we are wrapping up another term! Although most of Term 3 has been spent in remote learning, our students, families, and staff continue to amaze us with the resilience and positivity they have shown throughout this challenging term.

At this stage it is still unclear what Term 4 will look like, with no confirmed date to return onsite yet announced. We eagerly await the State Government announcements in the coming weeks and will keep you informed.

Curriculum Day - Monday 4 October

A reminder that Monday 4 October is a Curriculum Day, so as to enable staff to undertake professional learning and planning. There will be no classes running on this day so please ensure that students do not attend school - Camp Australia will be open should you need to organise care.

The first day of Term 4 for students will be on Tuesday 5 October, whether it be onsite or remotely. Stay tuned for confirmation in upcoming weeks.

Individual NAPLAN Results

Individual NAPLAN Student Reports were be mailed home this week for all students who completed 2021 NAPLAN testing in Years 3, 5, 7 & 9.

The NAPLAN Student Report describes your child’s particular skills in Reading, Writing, Language Conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and Numeracy. It also shows how your child performed in relation to national minimum standards.

It is important to note that the tests undertaken in NAPLAN are not pass/fail tests and are only a snapshot of your child’s learning at that particular point of time. For up to date assessments, and information about your child’s growth in specific content areas, please contact your child’s teacher at the school.

Please ensure that you file these results in a secure place in case you need them in the future. If you do not receive the reports by the end of next week please contact the school to let us know.
