Southern Cross Classic Competition

Congratulations to Ollie Heggie, Year 7, for coming first overall at the Southern Cross Classic gymnastics competition.

Ollie is an elite gymnast who has been competing for many years at both state and national level. Well done Ollie! 

Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) High Performance Swimming Camp

Congratulations to Liam Molloy, Year 11, who has been invited to an AIS Competitive Swimming Camp from 10 to 12 November in Canberra. 

Liam will have the chance to swim with some of the top open age freestyle swimmers in the country. He and his teammate Tommy Lane are the only two swimmers invited who are under 20 years of age. 

Tracey Menzies, who was Ian Thorpe's coach later in his career, coached Liam at the NZ camp in September and will be one of the lead coaches at the upcoming camp. 

Receiving an invitation to the AIS means Liam has achieved certain milestones for Swimming Australia to start developing him beyond state-based initiatives.
