Green Team 

At Kingswood we have a dedicated sustainability team led by teachers Elise Hawkins and Alex Baxter. If you have any ideas about how to make our school more sustainable or if you have an initiative you would like to start at the school, please let us know. 

At the moment, we are seeking volunteers to help us with our soft plastic recycling. This involves picking up the soft plastic rubbish from the school hall foyer once a fortnight and taking it to to Coles or Woolworths to be recycled. This will help a lot of the waste from our school to be diverted out of landfill. If you are interested, please email hawkins.elise.e@edumail.vic.gov.au

Scarecrow Man 

Welcome to our newest Kingswood member "Terrifying Scarecrow Man". Last year the Green Team worked really hard to put a scarecrow together in just 1 lunchtime! He was entered into a scarecrow competition run by Bunnings and won second prize! Thank you to everyone who put in a vote for him to win. The prize was a $100 Bunnings voucher will be used to buy items for this year's Green Team.
