Maroondah City Council Celebrates Reconciliation

Join us to celebrate National Reconciliation Week at a free event on Saturday 29 May, 11-1pm in the laneway park at 24 Railway Avenue Ringwood East. Featuring performances, a boomerang painting workshop, displays of traditional weapons, and the recently completed mural, pavement art and planter boxes created in collaboration with Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place and the Ringwood East Traders Association. 

 

 

Shadow puppetry workshop on 5 June

Children aged 8+ are invited to create their own shadow puppets inspired by the magical creatures from Kyoko Imazu’s exhibition 

Mayflies and Stars

. These enchanting characters will then perform on the shadow puppet stage in ArtSpace. Parents and guardians are welcome to come along and join in the fun!
