Public immunisation sessions with Maroondah City Council

Flu Vaccine 2021
It’s important to get your annual flu shot to make sure you’re protected during peak flu season (from June to October).
Council offers free flu vaccines for the following persons:
- children aged 6 months to 4 years and 11 months
- persons above the age of 65 years and over
- pregnant women (any stage of pregnancy)
- persons aged from 6 months who have certain medical conditions which increase the risk of influenza disease complications; such as, severe asthma, lung or heart disease, low immunity or diabetes
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from 6 months of age.
For all other persons, payable flu vaccine is available at cost of $27 (payment to made via eftpos only).
Please note, if you are currently eligible and planning to have your COVID-19 vaccine you must leave a 14 day gap between your Flu vaccine 2021 and COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 update
We are continuing to operate our immunisation service to ensure the community is protected from vaccine preventable diseases. To ensure you feel confident to continue to attend our immunisation sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have processes in place to ensure everyone stays safe, including social distancing, additional cleaning and hand hygiene and temperature checking upon entry. Our waiting area seating is spread out and cleaned and disinfected between each client.
We provide vaccinations to babies, young children, adolescents and adults at all sessions as per the National Immunisation Program.
Our sessions for 2021 are being held at the following venues:
- Maroondah Federation Estate, 32 Greenwood Ave, Ringwood
- Keystone Hall, Civic Square, Croydon
- North Ringwood Community House, 35-39 Tortice Drive, Ringwood North
- Glen Park Community Centre, 30 Glen Park Road, Bayswater North
