ACU Year 12 Revision Webinars

ACU know that the thought of your Year 12 exams can be daunting and even a little bit stressful, but you aren't alone. ACU, along with InspirED, have created free online revision webinars to help you prepare for what's to come and do your best. 

These revision webinars are run by experienced Year 12 assessors and exam markers who will know exactly how to guide you through this process and even help you respond to example exam questions. During the session you will be able to better understand the topics presented to you and learn some fantastic study tips and tricks too. 

And, there will be a live 30-minute Q&A, giving you the chance to have your questions answered.

Monash Science is excited to support students currently studying VCE science subjects through an on-campus revision lecture. These sessions are designed to reinforce key concepts in the curriculum and will be delivered by qualified VCE teachers with extensive experience in this subject.

AIE’s Industry Experience Day on Wed 5 October 2022 is a great opportunity for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to learn about the local and international game development, 3D animation and visual effects industries. Students will get the opportunity to learn about the different pathways to get into the industry, what should be in a portfolio and will be able to get creative in practical workshops using industry-standard 3D animation and game development tools.

Unleashed Writing Competition 2022

Entry is now open to the 2022 Schools Poetry & Short Story ‘Unleashed’ Writing Competition! Students all over Australia are invited to enter their 16 line poems or 500 word short stories, and battle it out for the great cash & prizes on offer.

There is no theme! Entrants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild and write on any topic and in any style. Students from all grades are welcome to enter – Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Entry is free and all entries must be in by the closing date of 28 August 2022.

Anthology Photography Awards 2022

Open to photographers working at any level, the Anthology Photography Award celebrates outstanding standalone images. It also provides a platform for photographers to showcase their work through publication.

Images submitted must be on the theme of ‘Where I Live’. Submissions will be judged on quality, creativity, originality, and visual/emotional impact.

Photography styles can include street photography, landscapes, natural world & wildlife, macro photography, lifestyle, object & still life and architectural. Technically manipulated images such as abstract, panoramic, stitched and composite are also permitted. Extra merit will be awarded to creative interpretation of the brief.

Entries are invited from photographers of all nationalities, living anywhere in the world. There is no limit to entries per person.

The winner will receive a €500 cash prize and editorial coverage in a future issue of Anthology Magazine, plus a one-year subscription to Anthology.

Entries close 31 October 2022.
