Sacred Heart School Disco 2022

Dust of those dance shoes and get ready for one of the most anticipated nights of the school year… The Sacred Heart Kids Disco, now locked in for Friday 3 June 2022!

Date & time: There will be two, 1 hour long disco sessions held in the School Hall: 6pm & 7pm

Please don’t be late!

Cost & payment: The cost per child is $10 and tickets can be purchased through CDF https://shsandringham.cdfpay.org.au/MonitorOnline/app/#!/login

Food: Each child is also asked to bring a plate of party food. Once you have purchased a ticket for your child, you will be emailed a form and asked to select the plate of food your child will bring on the night. This is to ensure that we cover all essential food groups for each disco session... party pies, sausage rolls, chips, cupcakes/slices, cookies and lollies…! Party food will be offered towards the end of each session to minimize disruptions to the dancefloor!

What to wear: Casual, comfortable dance clothes! Glitter, sequins, lycra, neon and sparkles all encouraged!

Presidents Report to Community

It’s been a busy few weeks with PF arranging the term 2 upcoming events. Mother’s Day luncheon ended up being another fabulous day out! Once again held at the espy, mums of all year levels had the opportunity to let down their hair for an afternoon of sparkling, treats, lunch and cocktails along with many many laughs! Thank you for making the day special and we are already in the process of arranging 2023!

Looking forward to our next two events- the fun and exciting disco on the 3rd of June- look out for the party food email!

Also can’t wait to welcome our lovely grandparents to the schools and classrooms and currently making our morning very special indeed so don’t forget to put Fri the 10th of June in the diary!

Outreach Program - Family support available

Sacred Heart offers an Outreach Program that provides support for families within our school community when in need of assistance.  This might include times such as when family members are unwell, ongoing illness is experienced within the family, during times of bereavement, or when welcoming the arrival of a new baby.

Support includes provision of meals as needed, along with help with transporting children to or from school.

This group works on an anonymity policy and details of individual circumstances are not relayed to volunteer helpers. We just work off the basis that someone needs help.

Please do not hesitate to be in touch with Cathie Beven on 0416 075 046, should you wish to receive support from the outreach program, or know of a family who could use a helping hand.
