Happy Monday everyone!
We’re getting excited, and you should be too, because we have our end of year Christmas celebrations coming up and there’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than with carols, craft, food and raffle prizes, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.
Read onwards for all your need-to-know information, including the next food order day, end of year events and fundraisers. Thank you!

We thank you in advance for your support with this fundraiser AND may the icy poles bring on the sunny weather!
ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TO GET THOSE COINS IN…
“Pretty much everyone has a handful of loose change just hanging around at home. Why not give those lonely coins a purpose and send them along to school with your child? Each class competes to see who can raise the most money from the start of term 4 until the end. At the end of the drive, the funds are collected for the school and the winning class will be awarded with a pizza lunch.”
In each class there is a money jar for students to add their coins, at the conclusion of the event the P&F will count the TOTAL money raised per class and announce the winning group.
Children are welcome to contribute as little OR as many COINS as they like, daily OR weekly… There are no rules… so Start Collecting AND Good Luck to Each Class!
The P&F invites you to join us for our last formal meeting for the year. At this meeting, we will finish our planning for the year, look forward to 2023 and celebrate the wonderful 2022 we have had. We also encourage parents to find out about the workings of the P&F and offer the opportunity to join our team.
Remember – the P&F is a volunteer group that the school relies on for the organisation of events and fundraising. This allows our children to experience a school community that is fun, engaging and meaningful PLUS increases the resources available to our children for use in their learning. There is NEVER an EXPECTATION for members to be involved in all events, it is purely a help-where-you-can basis AND there is ALWAYS support and assistance from other members and school staff. We urge you to consider joining the group for 2023. Many thanks 😊
To celebrate ‘Italian Day’ at St. Fidelis, on Wednesday 7th December, the P&F are organising pizzas and gelati mini cups for lunch! Orders will open up on QuickCliq shortly, so look out for SkoolBag App notifications so you don’t miss out on placing your order.
Thank you!
To finish off the year, the P&F invites you and your family to attend the end of year Christmas Carols Night. The evening will commence at 5:30pm, with carols at 7pm, followed by an 8:30pm finish. At the event, there will be Christmas craft activities, lucky dip, Christmas novelty gift stall, gingerbread making (thanks to THE VILLAGE BAKERY) the annual Christmas raffle, and a sausage sizzle. A flyer with specific costing of activities will be sent to you via SkoolBag soon! We recommend you BYO ‘other food’ and non-alcoholic beverages, a picnic rug and/or chairs for seating.
*IMPORTANT – The P&F need your help on the evening to run the BBQ from 5pm – 7pm. If you know now that you could be of assistance, please send a message to Josie Servello on 0421076580 OR sign up via QuickCliq. Thank you in advance.
In celebration of one of the most wonderful times of the year, the P&F are in the process of organising our annual Christmas Raffle – to be drawn at the Christmas Carol Night on Thursday 15th December. In the coming week’s you will receive a booklet of raffle tickets, and as per usual, each ticket will cost $1 to purchase. We already have some great prizes lined up! Many thanks, the P&F Committee
On Sunday 19th March, 2023 (To be confirmed), St. Fidelis will be hosting a ‘Community Day’. It will run from 12pm – 4pm and be comprised of FOUR MAJOR COMPONENTS:
As you could imagine, the P&F committee alongside school administration has already begun planning for this event. It is an important event as we are hoping to gain future student enrolments, fundraise for the school and as usual celebrate our school community. In anticipation of this event, we need YOUR ASSISTANCE in the following way/s:
We look forward to helping Manuela host this community day and we know that with your support, this will again prove to be another successful fundraising event for the school with the bonus of ‘bragging’ our wonderful school to the wider community.
Our next P&F meeting will be the AGM on Thursday 1st December @7:00pm in the school staffroom. You are welcome to join us - please contact Josie (contact details below) if you would like to attend. In addition, if you have any ideas to assist us with fundraising or event organisation, general queries relating to P&F NEWS, are able to provide goods/services for use in fundraising events or if you would like to join our team, please contact:
