Student Success
Ted C (Year 10)
Congratulations to Ted C who scored an unbeaten 68* off 30 balls against Westall for Beaumaris Secondary College in the boys intermediate interschool round robin competition in Ted’s first ever innings batting. The boys played with great spirit all days and should be commended for their sportsmanship and effort. The boys went on to win 2 of the 3 matches and ultimately played in the 3rd place playoff.
Well done to all involved, you did Beaumaris Secondary College proud.
Val B (Year 10)
In January, Val competed at the Athletics Victoria combined event and won the U18 men Decathlon state championship and, in February, came second in Sydney at Athletics Australia Nationals U17 men's decathlon.
Val is currently competing at Athletics Victoria states and has already qualified for Track & Field Nationals in March/April. He has also been selected for the Sandy Dragons Futures.
We are very proud of you Val and wish you the best of luck!
Indi S (Year 11)
Well done to Indi S who is taking on a huge challenge for a wonderful cause - see below.
Hi, my name is Indi, I am a Year 11 student here at Beaumaris Secondary College. This will be my second year swimming for a cause. Swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, so being able to do it to raise money for those in need of support and resources is so inspiring. Mental health in young people is a predominant topic in today’s society and suicide is one of the highest causes of death. So, help me support the young people of today’s mental health by supporting me to complete this challenge!
By sponsoring my participation in Laps for Life, you'll be helping ReachOut achieve its mission of ensuring that all young people have the support they need to be happy and well.
