ENLIGHTEN FOR EQUITY PROJECT

Representatives from the College along with students and staff from local schools were recently invited to attend the 'Enlighten for Equity' project. Guests included Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC (Governor of NSW), the Mayor of Wagga Wagga and other dignitaries.

 

Design and Technology students created designs and produced a 3D sculpture mock up of these concepts which the City of Wagga Wagga developed and manufactured. Sculptures created are now along the equity walk within the Wagga Beach Riverside precinct.

Founder of Exceptional Learners, Simon Da Roza is hosting workshops for parents, caregivers and teachers on 4 July in Wagga. 

GIRLS IN STEM HIGH TEA

Charles Sturt University and Mater Dei Catholic College are working in partnership to host the Year 9 and Year 10 Girls in STEM High Tea. The event will be an all day event, with team building activities, guest speakers, hands on activities and STEM pathway options for the future. Check Compass notifications for more information.
