Good times at the San Remo Ballroom

After months of planning, the eagerly anticipated Year 12 Formal took place at the San Remo Ballroom on August 3. Despite the glitz and glamour of the night and long lines at the photo booths, students wasted no time kicking off the dancefloor before enjoying a three course meal. 

Undoubtedly, the senior band's performance in front of the 300 strong crowd with covers of 'The Cure', 'Arctic Monkeys' and of course Taylor Swift was a highlight. A range of awards were dished out, with a notable mention to Kha Huyhn for being the deserved winner of the coveted best dressed prize.

A huge thank you to the tireless work the captains did to put the night together; the formal committee for their fundraising and decorating efforts; the 260 attending students on their excellent behaviour; the band and the countless staff who attended and supported the event.
