School Councillor
Profile- Alley Peck
We will be adding a profile of our parent school councillors in this
year's newsletters so you can get to know them.
My name is Alley Peck and this year I joined the CPS School Council as Treasurer.
My partner Bel and I are proud parents of Sophie Johnston in Grade 2 and Phoebe who will be joining CPS next year. We moved to Carnegie 10 years ago, we love the community spirit, parks and proximity to the city and bay.
One of my motivations for joining the School Council is to make a contribution to our daughters school and advocate for policies and initiatives that prioritise the school’s growth and development as well as student and teacher wellbeing.
My background is in public policy, governance and business management across health and education. I am currently a National Director at Ahrpa – the national agency who regulates Australia’s health practitioners. I hope to bring my sense of curiosity along with my valuable skills to inform the work of School Council.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a member of the School Council and work alongside fellow dedicated parents, educators and administrators. It has been a great start and looking forward to the year ahead.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
Cheers
Alley Peck
