OUR GOODIES ARE OFF TO THE PHILIPPINES
Our boxes were picked up by Alex last Thursday and it is always a pleasure to send our sister school, Buhisan Elementary, the goodies they deserve and so desperately need. Once again we would like to thank the whole school community for your ongoing support. It is our final one for the year.
Again a massive thank you to Maddy Kos, Olivia Cifone, Cooper Wilson, Matthew Southey, Adam Peters and Ayesha Bourke, my wonderful Social Justice Liturgy Group for their continued and ongoing support of the RE Social Justice program. Congratulations for being ambassadors to our RE Program.
PREP 2020 WELCOME MASSES
This weekend, November 9 and 10, we welcome our new Prep children and their families to our school-parish community at the Saturday 6pm and Sunday 10:30am Masses.
These Masses are dedicated to our new Prep children from both St Francis Xavier and Holy Trinity schools. They are celebrations, complete with balloons and stories that are a wonderful way for the children to begin building their own connections with the church and the school.
We welcome and encourage all 2020 Prep families to come along to one of the Masses and be part of this celebration.
COMBINED SCHOOL PICNIC
Once again, we are having our Combined School Picnic at Holy Trinity School on Thursday 14 November to celebrate our Patron Saint, St Francis Xavier Feast Day. Our whole school will be travelling to and from Holy Trinity by bus and returning to a sausage sizzle for lunch. Each child will be given two sausages in bread. (all sausages are gluten free and gluten free bread will be available). I do recommend packing them extra food as they will be enjoying the comradery of KABOOM KIDS SPORT for the day and will be exuding energy. We look forward to spending the day with our sister school Holy Trinity.
CLASS MASSES
Our Class Masses have come to a close for the year. It has been a wonderful year of Class Masses and with the addition of Fr Michael, has been fabulous. We look forward to our date sitting day with the Parish this year as we have our three schools working together.
Thank you to all the students and teachers, parents and grandparents who attended our Masses this year. We look forward to another fantastic year with you all in 2020.
