New display in the DC!

We have a new display about “Cars” in the DC.  This was a topic a number of students had requested to have as a display topic.  Some students have even brought in their own cars from home to add to our display. In addition I have set up a car mat with matchbox cars which the students can play with at lunchtimes. This is proving very  popular.

Book of the Week

After the success of “Wolf girl” Anh Do has just released another action/suspense story with a brilliant plot to appeal to a slightly older audience. This book titled “Golden unicorn - Rise of the Mythix”  is about mythological beings finding their way into the real world. The black and white illustrations by Chris Wahl of Titan and Marvel fame add to the overall appeal of the book.

Alice-Miranda Friends Forever Movie

The popular Alice-Miranda series by Jacqueline Harvey has hit the cinemas, in a 80 minute animated movie filled with marvellous mysteries, midnight feasts, ponies and pyjama parties. It’s heading to a cinema near you soon!
