The College is currently waiting on paper copies of the individual student NAPLAN reports. The College intends to upload individual NAPLAN reports on SEQTA and also post the paper results as soon as they are received.
ONE of the requirements to achieve the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) at the completion of Year 12 is for students to meet a minimum required standard (Band 8 or the minimum required standard in the Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment in Years 10, 11 or 12) for literacy and numeracy.
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) has recently informed all schools that current students in Year 9 who have not achieved the minimum required Band 8 for NAPLAN components will be able to complete ONLA this year in TERM 4, 2022.
This means that current Year 9 students who have not achieved the minimum NAPLAN standard will not have to wait until next year to complete OLNA.
NAPLAN Reports will soon be received by students and parents/caregivers.
A reminder that the next Independent Learning Day for students in Years 11 and 12 is scheduled for Tuesday 6 September (Week 8).
Students who have been contacted about completing Round 2 of the Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) will complete their assessments at the following times:
Parents are reminded that the Year 12 Semester Two Examinations (Mock/Trial WACE Examinations) will commence on Monday 3 October (Week 2 of the school holidays) and conclude on Friday 14 October (Week 1, Term 4). Year 12 students have already received a copy of the timetable.
