DAFFODIL DAY

Our Young Vinnies group, Year 12s and staff held various activities last week to raise funds for Cancer Council Australia's Daffodil Day. 

On Wednesday, our staff gathered in the Staff Room for a morning tea for a gold coin donation. Last Friday, our Year 12 Vinnies students braved the cold weather and sold 35 bunches of daffodils in the Kiss 'n' Ride. Many thanks to the parents and caregivers who purchased these bunches. Our Year 12s also held a fantastic cake stall at recess. 

The combined total raised for Cancer Council Australia's cancer research projects was  $1,831.65.

Cancer touches all people. It was lovely that so many in our community contributed funds to support the Cancer Council’s research to find answers to conquer this disease that affects so many.
