From The Library

Craft sessions continue to run at lunchtime on Tuesdays in the library. Last week the students made paper beads and threaded them, with glass beads, into bracelets.  It wasn’t an easy activity but they all persevered and wore the finished bracelets out of the library.

We have just added Horror to our genre selection as this is an often requested genre so we are looking at purchasing some new books to build up this area of the collection.

Every month we receive a selection of books from our supplier Lamont  that they have read and recommended. We receive Picture Books and Secondary Fiction books. The secondary books have a Lamont sticker on them and are housed on a shelf at the end of the Fantasy section – so look here for a good read!

Lastly, a request.  Quite a  number of books have been returned water damaged. This has generally occurred accidently when students put the books into their schoolbags with their water bottles. If possible, could you please provide your child with a plastic bag for their library books.
