Red Shield Appeal

Girton Grammar School has a long and proud history of supporting The Red Shield Appeal. For more than 28 years, our students have proudly worn their school uniforms on a Sunday morning in May and knocked on doors raising more than $250,000.

This year again, we have students door knocking in May, but with this year's door knock appeal being more important than ever following the financial fallouts from COVID-19, Girton Grammar School will also host a digital door knock.

The Red Shield Appeal raises crucial funds for The Salvation Army's vast network of community services and social programs, serving vulnerable Aussies every day. And due to the events of the past year, more and more people will face increased hardship.
