Work Experience Recommences

Another valuable life and learning opportunity that has recommenced post Covid 19 is work experience and WWHS student, Brittney Schwager has made the most of it. This talented young rider and horse person used her initiative and equine industry contacts to organise a week of work experience at the prestigious A List Stud in Victoria. Brittney got to experience a broad range of equine management and by all accounts, had a wonderful time. Well done Brittney.

Welcome to Our Term 4 Prac Students

We're delighted to be hosting three practicum students this term. 

A familiar face to many is Amber Conomos who graduated in 2016 from Wee Waa High School. Amber studied a Bachelor of Business at Macquarie University, then went on to study a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of New England. Now in her final semester of study, Amber will be with us for the whole term.

Bradley Roberts hails from Western Sydney and is also in his final semester of studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) - Mathematics and Physics. Bradley is with is for seven weeks.

Ben Mobbs grew up in Randwick and is in his final year of a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) - Biology at the University of New South Wales. Ben is with us for nine weeks. 

All three students elected to take a rural placement. For Ben and Bradley they were keen to experience rural living and what a small rural high school setting offers. 

SASS Week 2022

Every year schools celebrate the vital role played by School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) across NSW. Late last term our staff took some time out to come together for a celebratory morning tea.

Our SASS team are terrific and they are a wonderful support to our students and teachers. They keep the front office ticking, support students in class who need an extra helping hand, take care of campus maintenance and make sure our ag farm and animals are in tip top condition.
