HALFWAY POINT OF TRYOUTS

TRYOUTS

It is the halfway point of tryouts and wow have students continued to impress. We would first of all like to thank each and every student who has put in a session this term, some students have reached their limit and have informed us that they would like to finish up their time. Thankyou for your effort, you should be incredibly proud of yourself.

TEAM POSITIONS UPDATE

After some intense tryout sessions, the results have surprised and impressed us. We had set out to pick 5 girls and 5 boys from grade 5 and 2 girls and 2 boys from grade 6. However, after some tryout results, and students exiting the tryout stage on their own accord, we will be looking to select positions from a mix of grade 5 and 6. This means an increase in opportunity, how exciting! Teams will still be a 50/50 split of male and female riders as per the rules.

TEST AND TUNE

This Friday we will be participating in the first annual test and tune at the Bendigo Livestock Exchange. We have select 21 students who have shown the highest level of commitment to the tryout phase to participate. It will give students the chance to look at others schools in action, test ride some Trisled vehicles and get a glimpse of year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students in action along with the winning team from Bendigo Senior Secondary College.

THANKYOU TO THE CADZOW FAMILY AND JOHN TAYLOR

Over the past 3 months the Cadzow family along with John Taylor have been working away to expand or HPV fleet from 1 to 3 HPV's.

PUSHCART UPDATE

Tryouts for the grade 4 pushcart team will begin in the first weeks of term 2. One of the first trials will be a beep test for those interested. Thankyou to all the students who have signed up, there is still time to do so if you are keen.
