STOP PRESS- NEW PERFORMANCE DATES!!!!

Due to a delay with our building works, we have had to unfortunately change our dates for our production of Mamma Mia.

It will now be in Week 8 of Term 3:

Wednesday 31st August: Cast 1

Thursday 1st September: Cast 2

Friday 2nd September: Cast 1

Saturday 3rd September: Cast 2.

(NB. All chorus, crew and band are required all 4 nights.)

All students need to be available on the weekend of 27th and 28th August for full dress rehearsals.

Please put these new dates on your fridge and apologies for any inconvenience.

Rehearsal Reminder:

Tuesdays after school: Year 7 Chorus, Sophie’s Hens Night Chorus and Cast.

Wednesday Before School: Band

Thursday lunchtimes: Specialist Dancers

Thursday afterschool: Cast

Lunchtimes: Soloists as per rehearsal schedule

Musical Production

MAMMA MIA

Our Production of Mamma Mia is continuing to thrive through the weeks of rehearsals, song singing and dancing. Cast and chorus members have been working together on the bigger ensemble numbers such as “Honey Honey”, “Gimme Gimme Gimme”, “I do I do I do” and “Voulez Vous”. Cast members splitting off, throughout the weeks, are working on more individual scenes such as “Our Last Summer”, “Does Your Mother Know”, “The Winner Takes it All” and much much more. With the help of our amazing teachers, Ms Corry, Ms Mumme, Ms McGeechan and Ellyce Calder, “Mamma Mia” is coming together beautifully! 

It's quite amazing how much love for music and a few rehearsals can bring such a lovely group of people together!! Everyone involved in Mamma Mia has been putting their all into creating an amazing performance. Unfortunately, due to construction delays of our new auditorium, the final performances have been postponed to the 31st August and 2nd of September (Cast 1) and the 1st and 3rd of September (Cast 2). But we will all still work hard (and have lots of fun) to create an MGC Mamma Mia worth remembering. For fun, can you guess which scenes these photos/videos are from?
