Library Mural Competition Winners

Congratulations!

Thanks to all students who competed in the Library Mural Competition.

We had some great entries, and in light of this have expanded the prize pool. The winners are as follows:

1st Place – Lavinia Hanna, 7H

Lavinia's piece perfectly responded to the brief, taking into consideration the format and medium detailed in the competition description. Her anime-style dragon will provide an excellent centre-piece for the library, where manga represents our most popular collection.

Lavinia will receive the following in prizes: Arches 185gsm watercolor pad, set of 18 Reeves watercolours, set of 6 Art Spectrum goache, set of Art Spectrum brushes, set of Copic Hand Lettering calligraphy pens, Moleskine Art Collection sketchbook.

Congratulations Lavinia!

2nd Place – Rouqaya Mashti, 11C

Rouqaya's piece was an expertly rendered depiction of a cozy and calm library space. She receives a set of 24 Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, a Tombow beginner lettering set and a Moleskine Art Collection sketchbook.

Equal 3rd Place – Jayden Bonner, 12A

Jayden's piece was an authentic and in parts humorous representation of a day-in-the-life of a CSC student. Jayden receives a set of 8 Posca Paint pens, a set of Copic Hand Lettering calligraphy pens and a Moleskine Art Collection sketchbook.

Equal 3rd Place – Nurul Al Rasyid, 12A

Nurul's piece was a digital creation that showed imagination and spoke to fantasy worlds and space exploration. Nurul receives a set of 8 Posca Paint pens, a set of Copic Hand Lettering calligraphy pens and a Moleskine Art Collection sketchbook.
