Mrs. Kathryn Searle - Head of Boarding
The weather has turned cooler this week, with the girls now donning their winter attire at home in the Boarding House.
Our 2022 boarders’ item has now been ordered with an expected delivery to be the commencement of Term 3. This year, the students voted for a hoodie which I am sure will be worn regularly over the winter months.
Next week I will travel to Blackall in Central Queensland with Dr. Cousins for the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) State Conference from Tuesday 7 June to Friday 10 June.
During the school holidays, I will attend Ag-Grow in Emerald from Wednesday 22 June to Sunday 26 June. On Saturday evening, 25 June, I am looking forward to hosting our annual dinner with current and enrolled families.
If you haven’t already done so, please advise of your daughter’s end of term departure details and travel itineraries as soon as possible so we can schedule transport assistance where possible.
Please note, the school term finishes on Thursday 16 June at 3:10 pm. If your daughter is departing prior to this time, please seek School approval from Mr Desmarchelier (Years 7, 8 and 12) or Ms Mills (Years 9, 10 and 11).
With block exams next week, we have a quieter weekend planned:
Friday 3 June | In-house Movie Night and Candy Bar
|
Saturday 4 June | QGSSSA Cross Country John Paul College 7:00 am to 12:30 pm |
Sunday 5 June | Redcliffe Markets 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
