From the Principal

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Tuesday was the official start of the Term 1 school holidays for all students. During the past few days staff have been working on finalising their preparation for remote learning, should the need arise next term. We are truly thankful for this additional time to prepare and trial technology that for many staff is new and only used for the first time in recent weeks. We ask that parents, guardians and students keep this in mind if we do in fact commence Term 2 via remote learning.

All parents are urged to check COMPASS on a regular basis for updates on any information that may be relevant during this challenging time.

If you have any pressing concerns or matters that need to be resolved urgently, please email the school account or call the switchboard on 9337 2488 and we will try to get back to you.

Traditionally at Rosehill, many staff are present at school over the holidays but this will not be possible during this term break, as the demolition of D-Wing will commence next week.  No staff or members of school community are permitted onsite next week.

If any members of your family are experiencing difficulties, please contact the support services below, they are there for us in times of need. Take the time be nice and warm to each other, enjoy your families and each other’s company and allow your children to relax and enjoy their time at home. Please listen to the information provided by our Federal and State Governments and stay at home, unless it is necessary and together we can work through these difficult and challenging times.

School will commence for Term 2 on Wednesday 15th April.  This will either be on site at school OR via remote learning.  Please check Compass and website for updates.

On behalf of the Rosehill  Staff, I wish you all a safe, happy and healthy term break.

Best wishes,

Arthur Soumalias
