Bush Tucker Garden

Kempsey District Hospital

Students have been working very hard throughout this term helping to transform a section of the Kempsey District Hospital gardens. The section of gardens that the students worked hard on were full of overgrown weeds, which were quite difficult to dig up.

The plan for the gardens is to have a beautiful green space, consisting of bush tucker plants which are native to the area. This will encourage more native animals to the garden, like the little baby blue tongue lizards that were recovered.

Thank you to Miss Eberlein for assisting the students each week with this project.
