New School Based Apprentice

Congratulations to James Davey in Year 11 for successfully gaining a School Based Apprenticeship with Jade Electrical in Smeaton Grange.

James will be completing the first year of his Electrotechnology Apprenticeship over Year 11 and 12. He will combine study at TAFE, work and school to complete his Higher School Certificate. We wish James all the best in this exciting adventure.

VET Work Placement

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all work placement has been cancelled for the foreseeable future. This will not impact on any student’s ability to receive their Preliminary or Higher School Certificate. A letter has been sent home to individual students and parents outlining this NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) decision.

TAFE Study

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all TAFE classes have been moved to an online environment for the foreseeable future. All students have been contacted by TAFE via email outlining their individual course requirements. Processes will be put in place onsite from Week 3 to support any student studying at TAFE. A letter has been sent home to individual students and parents outlining the current TAFE situation.
