SESG Sport - Term 2

The SESG after school sport program starts 7 May for the Intermediate teams. The sports are Badminton, Basketball and Futsal.

The Junior competition will start in Week 4. We would like to remind all parents that they need to “confirm” their daughter's participation in these

programs through the Parent Portal.

As the competition now takes place at Monash University it is important that all participants are aware of the departure times for their year level. (Please see the attached draw below for Term 2 sport).

Good luck to all participants.

Sport Awards Lunch

At the end of Term 1 the Sport Department organised a Sports Awards Lunch that recognised all of the girls that had participated in SCSA events for that term.

Students were congratulated for their participation in a variety of sports. There were some excellent performances in Cricket, Triathlon,

Tennis, Surf League and Swimming.

We are already planning the Sport Award Lunch for Term 2. Once again, we encourage all girls to try out for Sport Teams at the College.

Cross Country Training Program

Kilbreda has been performing particularly well over the last few years with the Cross Country Team.

A lot of this success does come from the regular

training sessions that the girls commit to over the six week program. There are some sessions at Kilbreda, Mentone Football Oval, the local streets of Mentone and the beach paths and ramps.

The event is at Yarra Bend on Tuesday 18 June. We have attached the training program which starts in Week 4. We encourage all girls to try out for the Cross Country team for 2019.

Congratulations: Sport Achievement

Congratulations to Jorja Azzopardi for qualifying for the Independent School State Finals for Golf on Monday 27 May. Good Luck Jorja.
