School Council President

School disco next Tuesday

We will be holding our final school disco for the year next Tuesday 29 November. The Prep to grade 2 session is from 5-6pm and the grade 3-6 session is from 6:15-7:30pm

Our last disco was a huge success and we have Ben the DJ back coming back again to host the event.

If you haven't bought your tickets yet, they are on sale for $10 each at https://www.trybooking.com/CEMNH.

We are looking for parent volunteers who can help supervise one or both sessions. It's a simple job,  just wandering around and watching the children enjoy themselves, and is often easier than dropping them off and then coming back for pick up later.

Please get in touch if you are able to help out.

New uniform options

I'm pleased to announce that our new Creekers tops and ACPS beanies are now available for purchase. As with all the rest of our uniform, they can be bought from the PSW Croydon store or directly from the PSW online store.

The new Creekers tops are made from a light-weight mesh material and are perfect for interschool sports and other sporting events. They also feature a collar to help with protection from the sun. As with the existing Creekers tops, these are for grade 5/6s only.

The beanie design was chosen by our school community and they look great and are beautifully warm. They are perhaps a little late for this winter, but I'm sure they'll be very popular next year!

Events for 2023

We're starting to plan out our school calendar for 2024 and I've already had several people get in touch with some suggestions for social events we could hold.

I think 2023 is going to be a really positive year for ACPS and social events are a great way for our community to get to know one another and have fun at the same time.

Some of the suggestions so far include: a colour run, a talent show / Have a Go night, a screening of student-created short movies, a trivia night and a movie screening.  If you have any more ideas, then please let me know!
