Celebrating Our Successes

Congratulations to Nathan Brown (Year 10), who competed in the National Diving Championships over the holidays, achieving a gold medal in the 3m synchronised event, and two bronze medals in the 1m and 3m. This is especially impressive given that Nathan was competing an age-group above. Well done on an amazing effort!

Jackson Smith (Year 9) was nominated for a Maroondah Youth Award, which he accepted at the ceremony held on Wednesday 21st April at the Karralyka Centre. Jackson was selected for his leadership skills, positive attitude, and contribution to the school community. He provided this reflection on the evening:

The Maroondah Youth Awards were an amazing opportunity. I got to meet amazing people, experience skilful music performances, and gain a deeper understanding of what others have accomplished in the community.

Term 2 Reminders:

Uniform

As of Week 3, students must wear the full winter uniform to school. If you need to update any uniform items, please ensure that this is done by the end of Week 2.

Year 10 - Central Australia Trip

An assembly was held at the end of Term 1 for students attending the Central Australia trip. Any students who were absent and did not obtain a medical form will need to collect one from Middle School Office. Please return these forms to First Aid as soon as possible. Ms Watson will follow up with absent students to make sure they have the information from the assembly.

Year 9 - InterGREAT Night

From 6pm – 7pm on Wednesday 28th April, Year 9 students will be presenting their InterGREAT Personal Projects for parents and friends. Please come along and see the incredible work the students have done on their projects as we celebrate their creativity and ingenuity.
