Term 3 Week 4

As we reach the end of week 4 we realise that we are nearly half way through the term and that by the next newsletter we will have everything confirmed for the next Vacation care and will be even closer to the start of Spring.

We have had some lighter nights already and the children have loved some later playtime on the play ground and some really amazing sunsets over the last week.

A reminder as some missed out last time that Vacation care will be open for bookings on Friday 25th August at 9am for current enrolments and Monday 28th August for new families.

If you have a sibling starting prep in 2024 and they have turned 4 they are welcome to join us at Vacation care this Spring.

What have we been up to in the last two weeks?

In week 3 schools across Australia participated in Australia’s largest tree planting and nature care event for national tree day. Therefore, we looked at conservation this week

Here’s what the program included:

Monday at Arts and Crafts we made

Heart animals and Butterfly rest stops

Tuesday in Music and Drama we had a

Plant a tree sensory play day.

Wednesday: in Science and Cooking

We investigated Oil spills in our STEM activity

and made earth cookies in the afternoon

Thursday in Let’s Get Active we played Musical Lily pads and Nature Hopscotch

Friday is our Rest & Reflect day

This week we have continued our love of nature and caring for environment by looking at how our actions on earth threaten species of animals
