Forest School

This week we’ve enjoyed a lot of sunshine in Middle Gully! The sun shone on us as we explored the dam; identified frog spawn; observed worms; spotted a fox; listened to bird calls; cut, sawed and whittled wood; went on nature walks; played maze tiggy; repaired bush cubbies; and simply enjoyed being out in nature.

Many thanks to the parents that cut and delivered green wood for our whittling projects! The children enjoy this activity and their skills are developing as they practise.

Please let me know if you can spare an hour or so to attend a Forest School session with your children. Email: Sarah.Kline@education.vic.gov.au.

Thanks!

Sarah.
