Shrove Tuesday

On Tuesday 21st of February, we will acknowledge Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Tuesday. This will mark the beginning of our Catholic Lenten season, which starts on the following day, Ash Wednesday. 

The students will celebrate this day by eating pancakes in their classrooms during the day.

The teachers will supply students with pancakes and serviettes, but we ask that students bring their own INDIVIDUAL toppings and cutlery if required. As a safety precaution we ask that students don't bring in any nutella or nuts. 

NOTE: We ask that students who have specific dietary requirements (for example: no gluten, no dairy products, no egg products, etc) bring their own pancakes or something similar from home.

NOTE: At SJV we follow COVID guidelines to ensure the safety of our students.
