1972 Reunion

Forty four of the class of ’72 gathered at various events held on November 25-26. The first gathering was at the New Sydney Hotel on the Friday evening, followed by an opportunity to visit their old stamping grounds at Barrack St and Austins Ferry during Saturday, with a dinner in the evening. 

‘Well done’ to Kieran Mahony ( Head Prefect ’72) and his team in their organization of such a successful reunion. A special thank you to GYC Principal, Craig Deayton (an Old Virgilian) for his guided tour through Barrack St and to Bruce Woods and Graeme Rainbow for enabling access to the Austins Ferry buildings.
