Bloody Long Quad

Alex Gadomski Fellowship

In the July 2021edition of OVAtion we carried the story of former student Alex Gadomski who died from bone marrow failure at the age of 21 in 2017.  The Alex Gadomski Fellowship was set up in 2018 in an effort to raise money for research into bone marrow failure syndromes.  The fellowship is supported through the Maddie Riewoldt Vision.

As a major fundraiser for the Fellowship a group of friends conquered a “Bloody Long Quadrathon’ recently. The group completed a 60Km kayak,500km ride, a 125km run and a 15km swim challenge.  There is a lengthy Win News report on the event on the Alex Gadomski Fellowship Facebook page.

An outstanding contribution to raising money for a very worthy cause and by way of honouring an outstanding young man. You might like to add your support!
