On Monday 18 October, it was fantastic to see our Year 12s celebrating their amazing achievements of the year. A few tears were shed as they said goodbye to 13 years of schooling and it was great to add messages of good luck to the creative and brightly coloured uniforms. Obviously, lots of click and collect spotlight orders for the ribbons and lace!
The lunch on Tuesday 19 October was well attended and it was fantastic to see the students enjoying the sunshine on their socially distanced picnic blankets, joining in games and a great finish with some dancing joined in by all staff and students.
We are sure that the students and staff would all like to join the coordination team in thanking each other for creating such a great atmosphere to celebrate!
Year 12 'You've Got This'
On Wednesday 27 October, after the Year 12 English exam, students received a 'You’ve Got This – Class of 2021 cookie' and a special message of encouragement to congratulate them for finishing a very tough year.
A BIG THANK YOU to Crumbs Yarra Valley Gourmet Biscuits and Tasty Az for arranging the lovely gifts for our students. The cookies were DELICIOUS and they brought a very BIG SMILE to every student.
Crumbs Yarra Valley Gourmet Biscuits and Tasty Az baked 2500 cookies and delivered them to every Secondary School in the Yarra Ranges Council for all Year 12 students.
A special thank you to Jenny McLean our Senior School Assistant for organising the delivery to our AMAZING Year 12 students.
From our Year 11 Captains
It has been great to feel ‘back to normal, sort of’ with the relaxing of mask rules. The first exam English, was an epic 3 hours, thankfully the rest weren't as long.
It’s been great to have the freedom to start to do the things we enjoy. Orientation will be a good introduction of what to expect in the coming year.
We’re looking forward to a well-earned break over the holidays and getting back to ‘normal’ next year, we’re hoping. Stay safe and enjoy your holidays.

Year 11 into 12 Orientation
It is compulsory that all Year 11 students moving into Year 12 next year attend Orientation from Monday November 29 to Friday December 10.
This is an opportunity for students to meet their new teachers and the students who will be in their classes.
Furthermore, every subject will start the content for next year, and essential holiday homework will be distributed.
