Students Transferring or Exiting School

Parents/Carers, if you have a student who is transferring to a new school or exiting to employment or TAFE at the end of the year, you are required to complete EXIT paperwork.  This can be obtained from the General Office.

Before a student is allowed to leave school, they must satisfactorily complete Year 10 and until the age of 17, they must be in some form of full-time training or employment. These are government requirements.

Students under the age of 17 wishing to undertake these options MUST provide proof of placement in the course or letter of offer from the employer.  They must participate in:

  • An average of at least 25 hours per week of approved education, training or employment or a combination of these or
  • A course of education or training considered to be full-time by the provider

Any students wishing to leave before these requirements are met, MUST put in a request for exemption to the Regional Director in consultation with Lilydale High School.

If you would like some advice on career pathways or training options, please book an appointment with Careers. Training options can include: VCAL, TAFE, Apprenticeship or Full time employment.

Students leaving school before the end of Year 12 are also required to attend and complete a Careers or MIPs appointment.

If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Polkinghorne on 9735 5644 in the General Office.

School Reports - Once students are removed from current student records at the school, school reports can no longer be accessed via the Compass Parent Portal.

Parents and Carers are advised to print/download and save school reports for future reference.

2022 Booklists

Booklists are NOW available on the school website homepage OR the link below from Lilydale Books.

2022 Parent Payments

The parent payment determined by School Council each year provides the vital funds necessary for Lilydale High School to continue to provide excellent facilities, and sufficient teaching and curriculum resources to ensure a high quality education for all students.

A significant proportion of the school’s cash budget is made up of parent contributions.

While every effort is made to keep these fees as low as possible, the school needs your assistance to continue to provide the excellent educational programs and the successful outcomes for students that have become the hallmark of Lilydale High School.

School Immunisation Program

Due to limited amount of time students will be at school for the remainder of 2021, the Yarra Ranges Council Immunisation Service is offering out of hours community immunisation sessions for the completion of the immunisation program.  (This is NOT the COVID-19 vaccine.)  This decision has been made to support schools and students and to allow the focus to remain on a successful completion of the current year.

The Year 7 students are now becoming due for dose 2 of the Human papillomavirus vaccine and the students in Year 10 are scheduled for the meningococcal ACWY vaccine.  COVID19 vaccine is NOT available at our sessions and should not be given within 7 days of any other vaccine.

All sessions will be held at the four large venues which enables social distancing requirements to be observed.

Please click the venue required to make your appointment:

Appointments are mandatory for these sessions.  To keep to capacity limits we request that parents do not enter the venue unless additional support is required for the child.  Screening questions are asked prior to entry, temperatures are taken and cleaners are onsite to ensure strict hygiene standards are met.

Once your booking has been made, our records will be checked to confirm that valid consent was received and to ensure relevant timelines are met.  If consent has not been received, an electronic form will be sent to you.

If your child is unable to attend the any of the session times listed you can book in to your GP clinic, some pharmacies or your own immunisation provider if you reside outside of the Yarra Ranges Shire area.

If you require any further information please contact the immunisation service on 1300 368 333.
