DUKE OF EDINBURGH ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY

Monday 22  to Wednesday 24 November

The Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh students visited South Gippsland to complete their adventurous journey.

The students embraced the experience which included a surf lesson near Walkerville with Offshore Surf School, and a guided hike from Bear Gully Campground to Walkerville North.

During this trip students had the opportunity to develop various skills including teamwork, leadership, communication and the necessary water sport skills to participate safely in future water sport activities.

The trip also enabled the students to develop a sense of adventure and have the necessary skills to participate in other activities in the future.

Congratulations to all students on completing the last component of the Bronze Award.  It was fantastic to share this experience with you and to see your development.
