Year 10 Physics Launch into Space

Year 10 Physics Class took to the skies in Week 3 for the annual Physics Rocket Launch. With perfect sunny conditions that provided warmth to the chilly air, students braced themselves for a morning of space exploration as they prepared their rockets for launch. Much to the excitement of all involved, every rocket catapulted from the launch pad and into the sky with maximum force, making for a successful day in and out of the classroom.

The Year 10 Rocket experience was wonderful! It was such an interactive and fun practical investigation that reinforced our knowledge of Newtons laws of motion. This really sparked my excitement for physics and engaged me in learning about the forces that are applied to a rocket as it launches and how rockets work. This was such an amazing experience getting to launch rockets and actually putting into practice the work we did in class!
