Around the classrooms

The Year 10 Thrive classes were fortunate to have Georgia Sheehan speak to them on Wednesday. 

Georgia is an Australian diver who at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, claimed the Gold medal in the women's synchronised 3 metre springboard event with Esther Qin and the Silver medal in the 1 metre springboard. 

The young Queenslander started out as a gymnast and at first diving was just something different to try. Georgia gave the students an insight into her journey and how she developed resilience and promoted self care in her quest to become Australia’s best.
