Qualified educators operate our program, offering a variety of engaging activities from visual art, sports, music and movement, environmental education, cooking experiences and flexible indoor and outdoor play.

Mandatory Vaccination for people working in Early Childhood
The Early Childhood Education sector are now mandated, to be vaccinated as part of their employment. GEKA are pleased to reassure families that ALL GEKA employees are fully vaccinated, providing added protection and safety for our whole community.
Rapid Antigen Testing
RATs have proved an important COVIDSafe tool to help reduce the number of COVID-19 cases and keep our GEKA services as safe as possible. Their use remains voluntary for staff and children aged 3 to 5 years but is strongly encouraged. You can collect a RAT from your child's service - there is a provision for testing twice weekly, into the first month of term 2.
RATs have been delivered fortnightly to our kindergartens over the course of Term 1 and will be again for part of term 2, to ensure that services are able to offer children, staff and families as safe an environment as possible.
The Victorian Government has announced the continuation of the RAT screening program for all staff and children aged 3 to 5 in early childhood education and care (ECEC) services over the term holidays and until the end of week 4 of Term 2 (20 May 2022).
