Year 12 Formal Wednesday & Celebration Day

2020 has been the year like no other and with so many school events cancelled, the Senior School Team was determined to ensure the year 12 cohort had an opportunity to celebrate their final moments as students of Thornbury High School.

'Formal Wednesday' was a day to shine your shoes, paint your nails and pull out a fancy frock or bow tie, while Year 12 Celebration Day  was a day to come together and reflect on the past six years. Food trucks provided sustenance with delicious crepes, breakfast rolls and refreshments and the entertainment was provided by the array of colourful, quirky and sometimes downright scary ( Mr O'Sullivan and Mr Ding!) costumes.  It was a great opportunity for the whole school community to come together and celebrate The Class of 2020 and we thank them for what was a memorable day celebrated in style and look forward to continuing the celebration at the upcoming Graduation Night on Wednesday 16 December.
