Request for Class Reps for 2021

For those returning or new to Boroondara Park Primary School, we welcome you. 

We want to make our school a welcoming and open community therefore request assistance from parents in all year levels. 

Do you want to help but not sure how? 

A great way to do this, is by being a class rep. Each year we look for volunteer parents/carers to help their child’s class teacher with various activities during the year. Ideally, there will be a couple of parents volunteering per class to share these duties. If you have more than one child at the school, you are welcome to be a rep for more than one class. Do you have a friend also interested, you can sign up together. 

If you are new to this role, we will help you get started.

Some of the activities you may help with include: 

• Arrange a social get-together with the class teacher and parents.
• Liaising with other class reps in your year level when required
• You may be required to send out a message for classroom help (reading, excursions etc)
• Welcoming new families into your class throughout the year.
• Organise collection for end of year gifts to teachers.

Class Registers

The school will shortly send out a Google form inviting parents to add their details to the Class Registers for 2021. This will come via a Sentral message and then be included in the next newsletter as well.
